emails received

I received an email from someone and it keeps sending me 100's of copies of
the same email from the same date and time. My inbox is no longer getting my
normal emails and I've tried blocking this person but it still sends the
emails. When I click on send and receive is says retrieving message 1 of 16
but only one message comes in (the junk one) and then an error message
appears saying:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.telus.net', Server: 'pop.telus.net', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

HELP!!

Thanks!

Log on to your server's Webmail site and delete it there. Once you resolve
that issue, turn off e-mail scanning.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant
layer of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving,
and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting
changes and has even been responsible for loss of messages. Your
up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For
more, see:

Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your email

Note that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the
program and reinstall in Custom Mode and uncheck e-mail scanning when the
option arises.

There's probably only one copy of the message, and it's damaged; the
download doesn't complete, and the client never marks the message as
downloaded or tells the server to delete it. You need to delete it *on the
server* to get past this problem.

Log into the webmail interface for your mail, and remove that message.
Your mail client should start working properly immediately.
