I have windows vista and outlook 2007. Whenever I receive an email that has
an inanimate picture, the email does not show this, all I receive is a blank
square.
Does anybody have an answer how I can resolve this issue.
Many thanks

You should see an "information bar" above the header details of the
message, but below the ribbon (ribbon n/a if viewing in Reading Pane).

The box should say "Click here to download pictures. To help protect
your privacy..."
Click it and a context menu will appear. You can select Download
Pictures to download them for this one message, or you can add the
sender to a "Safe List" so that pictures will automatically download
every time for that person (or messages from anyone in that domain, if
you select that option). You can also change the settings for this
feature, to suit your preferences and security needs.
