Hello,
Setup OWA for a user and they are complaining that they receive the new mail
popup but when they look at their inbox in OWA, there is no message.
On testing, I've found that they are remote and Outlook 2003 SP 2 is open on
their local desktop. What seems to be happening is Outlook pulls the message
from the server. If you close outlook on the desktop and send an email, then
it's visible in OWA.
Just shutting down Outlook when away isn't an option as the next time they
are in the office and open outlook, it will suck all the message off the
server and they won't be available the next time they are on OWA?
This is a very simple setup of Exchange 2003 SP 2. It seems like it's an
outlook problem and I believe when you setup exchange to a pop 3 server, you
have an option to leave a copy of the message on the server. But since this
is an exchange account I don't see that option but that appears to be what's
going on.
Any have any ideas or know what setting may be causing this?
Thanks.
