Emails in outlook only sending after close-reopen

Hi

Im using the new outlook 2010 I think (not sure how to check) And Windows Vista.

The emails will not send and will continue to build up in my outbox and will only send after I exit Outlook and re open again.

Not sure why, im not working offline and I have not changed any settings> have not had a problem except for the last few days.

Any tips?
