emailing reports

Hi,

I have a couple of reports in a database that users can
Email as in, "mail recipient (as attachment)..." under
the "File" menu button. When you do this you are able to
send the report in a variety of formats. One format
is "Snapshot" which is great because it is a read-only
format. However there are other formats like Rich-Text
that can be opened in Word and edited. Is there a way to
either limit the types of formats allowed or is there a
way to have the attachment be only a read-only format, so
the user is not able to edit the report once emailed?

Thanks for the help!

You can use Word protection, but that will only stop him from changing that
document, not copying and pasting to a new document that can be changed. If
you are using Office 2003, you might look into Rights Management Services in
Word.
