emailing powerpoint presentations with a video file

I am desperately trying to put together a presentation with a video file
(wmv) on one of the sides. However, everytime I email it, the videoclip won't
play. It simply comes across as a still of the video clip. How would one
"embed" the video clip into the presentation. Size is not such a serious
issue at the moment.
