Emailing an Office Document from the document

D

David Brown

When I select Send as and email attachment I get an error message stating it
can't be send and to "Check mail installation". In the registry on my
machine there is a list of apps, .exe and .dll, that appear be on the
authorized list but no entries are office exe's. This worked at one time
but broke after I installed the IIS snapin to allow the installation of
Exchange System Manager. I am using Office 2007. Anyone have an idea of
what is broken?
Thanks,
-David

Hi David,

It is not supported to install Exchange Server components and Outlook on the same computer. For detail information, refer to the following KB
article.

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=266418

Are you using Outlook 2007 to send/receive emails? Are you able to send emails from Outlook 2007 properly.

Please uninstall the Exchange System Manager or set the default email program as other application such as Outlook Express. Test the issue
again. What is the result?

If anything is unclear or if you have any other concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,

Emily Lin
