I recently had to do a recovery of Windows XP. Before
doing this I saved important mail to CD to place it on
the recovered Outlook Express. I have it as .dbx files
but I cannot remember how to import them so I may see
these messages as well as the current ones through
Outlook. I have created folders corresponding to the file
names but this does not seem to work. I have however
successfully been able to import my Inbox with no
problems.

HELP!!!

File menu - Import and Export and follow the wizard. Your way does work but you have to get things exactly right.
