Does outlook have an automatic font color change when you forward or reply to
someone?
i was told that outlook sometimes will reply in different color.
My manager often replies to email in "red ink" and we seem to think that he
is letting us know that he is angry; and since we brought up the issue, he
claims that outlook does it automatically or as it wishes.
Any truth to his statement?

the font color for replies is set in Tools/Options/Mail Format/Fonts
It shouldn't change from what is there. That said, I have seen rare cases
where the message being replied to was using a fancy html stationary, and the
reply font was from the stationary.

So what you are saying is that unless the user changes the font color, the
font will be what is set in tools? i thank you for your replies.
