Email Password Prompt

I keep getting prompted to 'enter network password' each time Outlook XP
tries to check my email. I've checked the box to 'remember password', but
each time the prompt comes up, all of the information is filled out (server,
user name, password), but the 'remember' box is unchecked again. I've tried
to go into the registry and configure the user settings from there, but I
couldn't find regedit32 in XP (I was logged on as admin). I did find regedit
though and all my settings appeared correct (according to knowledge base
article 290684). This is my home computer which is not on a network. I am
running Norton Internet Security, but I have turned it off completely and
still am prompted to enter my password.

I am getting that too. Does anyone know why? I just switched from Outlook
Express to "Full" Outlook today, and it never happened as often with Outlook
Express (although it did happen a few times a day). Now, I seem to be
getting the prompt every five minutes. With Outlook Express, I only got it
if I hit the Send/Receive button.
