email notificaiton

I miss my little envelope at the bottom of my screen tellng me I have new
mail when my email is minimised. Now that I have Vista with windows mail
instead of outlook on my new comp, is there anyway to get it back?

I get a "New Mail" notification icon in the system tray. Not sure why you are
not seeing it. Check your Notification Area icon settings.
