Email Lost while Compacting??

All,

Outlook Express was compacting this morning and at some point during the
process my system locked up. After rebooting, I bring up Express and my
inbox is completely empty and a number of personal folders are gone as well.
There were at least 100 emails in my inbox. Deleted, draft and one peronal
folder remain and have emails in them.

Is there anyway for me to restore this? I don't have a backup :0( Is this
a known problem? Any help is appreciated!

Try posting this in an Outlook Express newsgroup - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own newsgroups.
