Email Doesn't Send, but tries hundreds of times

Outlook 2007

I have a problem email in my Out Box. It tries to send, can't, and
then spawns hundreds of tries. I have to use Task Manger to stop
Outlook.

I've tried deleting the email and can't. It says "Outlook has already
begun sending this message."

How do I get rid of it? I can't send any email until I can figure out
how to delete it.

Following myself up. Was able to fix this. Found that I could
forward it. That opened the email, which wasn't possible before. I
edited out the bcc: addresses and replaced them with my own address.

This gave me two copies in the Out box. I could delete the forwarded
message. Once I did that, the original message disappeared.

Next time try File, work offline, delete it. You might have to close Outlook
and reopen to delete.
