Hey all:
Have a client. He has OUtlook 2k3 open at work and
Outlook 2k3 open at home - all day long. His office
version is set to download mail every 10 minutes. His
home version is set to download mail every 30 minutes.
His office version is connected directly to Exchange 2k
server. His home version gets mail from the same Exchange
server, but as a pop3 client.
When his mail gets download at home, the mail already
downloaded to his office PC immediately gets flagged as
opened - so that when he looks at his mail list, none of
them appear to be "new" emails which confuses him.
Any ideas why this would happen, or a method of making
sure all "unopened" email on his office machine
stays "unopened" until he actually opens it? Aside from
the logical answer that he shuts down his outlook at
home. This would be an unsatisfactory answer to this
client - unfortunately.
TIA
Darren
