Email a report which can then be edited by the recipients.

I have designed a report in Access with a format I wish to retain. I would
like the recipients of the emailed report to be able to edit a couple of
selected fields within the report and then send it back so that the database
can then be updated. Is this possible within access? The options given, don't
seem to allow this. The rich text word format allows for the edits, but does
not retain the design of the report.

As ever, I would be grateful of any advice on this.

a report is to be considered as a printout, ergo no editing
you can output to or create pdf's etc
my suggestion would be to send them the report & an output to excel of the
underlying query to update the data & import, check & apply

but there's no built-in facility to review & incorporate outside editing

Well, you could upgrade to 2007 and send the report as an attachment to a
data collection email. I have only played with data collection emails, they
work with outlook 2007 but 2007 is new so you may have trouble finding help
with it. May need a wall to hit your head on until you get it right.
