efficient network driver cd???

after an automatic update to win xp the other day, this window keeps popping
up telling me to enter the efficient network driver cd. it says that some
files are needed from this cd. i dont have that cd, nor ever knew of having
one. i have tried to enter the drivers cd that came with my computer, but it
didnt work. anyone have any thoughts, and by the way, im not to good with
computers so please make comments in lamens terms.

Well just how do you connect to the internet,via phone or cable.If cable,xp
has the drivers to get started,download updates from the mfg web
site(intel,etc).
If phone line,youre ISP should walk you thru it fairly easy.If you dont use
effient
network,you probably picked up spyware,delete it.You'd find it in
search,regedit,
intenet options,etc...
