Will this Effect any software that rely on Automatic
update, like Norton Automatic Liveupdate, Window
Automatic Updates, Mcafee automatic updates, MSN Explorer
9 Autmatic updates, Zonealarm Automatic updates,
aol, eztrust etc... Since Microsoft Antispyware have so
many 50 agents that watches how software install itself
on window?

We've seen an issue in these groups where an antivirus update--Sophos(?)
gives rise to an alert which requires a user response.

I haven't seen this or heard from users about it--and I've got users with
NAV 2004, NAV 2005, Symantec Corporate 9.0, and AVG Free 7.0 and some CA
Ez-trust versions.

So many of these updates seem to be going fine, but not all.

they should considered having an exception software
option so that we can choose what software is safe for
automatic update, kinda like a firewall.

If it blocks the auto update feature for any of utilities you mentioned, you
remove the check point for it under system explorers.
