edit/saving online .txt with notepad

foo bah

Frustrating as hell, but i can't figure out how to do it!
xp home pc.

I keep a small text file, memo.txt in my quicklaunch that i keep phone
numbers, emails, ideas, urls etc in like a scrapbook / notepad kinda
thing. Nothing fancy, just a .txt file linked to my bar.

Now, i'd like to keep this online, but edit it at the same time. i have
ftp space, and can open, in notepad, my file
Notepad-Open... mydomain.com/memo.txt will open the file, which i can
edit.

Now, saving. I cannot work out how to save this to my ftp space. I
don't want to have to open up an ftp app just to save a few bytes of
data, nor do i want to have to blog it, or open up gmail and edit a
draft email.

Any way i could do this? Any provisions in xp or a small nifty app with
this ability somewhere?

Many thanks in advance,

FB

You could run a batch file with command line FTP (which is built in to
XP) when you logout, or on demand - see
http://www.nsftools.com/tips/MSFTP.htm for details. Can't guarantee that
this will do the job, but it should be able to do a simple file transfer.
