I accidently added a word to the dictionary that was spelled incorrectly.
How do I edit the dictionary to delete this word?

A question please in relation to this please.
Why is it that when I do a search in Vista for *dictionary* nothing comes
up? I do have show hidden files checked.

Also you have to specifically choose to include hidden files in the search
when you perform it.

Sorry kids. very new to this. gary ... I tried to copy and paste that address
to get to the dictionary, for I too added an incorrectly spelt word, and the
computer said there was no such address. Any other clues. I just want to
tidy-up the dictionary. I thought that it could be accessed from the toolbar,
somewhere.

Can you or anyone help please?

Simply copying and pasting that address won't find it.
You need to change "yourname" to your user name.

In the location path below you need to replace "YourName" with your Windows
user login name.
However, it's best to open Notepad, then use its File > Open to navigate to
that location.
Note: Notepad by default looks only for .txt files so you need to change that
to "All Files (*.*)"

Or in WinMail go to Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Store Folder
and that will give the exact path.
