I have Office XP and in explorer my edit button on the
toolbar is not active (no color). I can use FrontPage by
opening the software directly but the button on my browser
still does not become active.

I have selected Microsoft Frontpage as my HTML editor
under Internet options.

How can I "activate" my edit button on my browser so I can
open web pages on my site directly form the browser with
the edit button?

Thank you for any help.

I don't have a solution for your specific issue, as I have never had this
happen, I am sure someone will provide the solution shortly.

However by open the site directly in FP via the File Menu | Open Web
command, and double-clicking on the remote site, you can avoid having to
type in your login info (if you have check remember login at some point),
you just have to click ok.
