Hello!

Anyone used the EdgePort/1 from Inside Out Networks with XP embedded? ( USB
to Serial Device)

I have tried for over a week now, and even if I have the drivers from I O
Networks, no COM port is enumerated. I have a similar device from another
vendor, and it works fine. Also all four onboard COM ports work fine..

Any suggestions..?

I have susessfuly used the 8 port edge port in XPe, if you just follow
the normal procedure for importing a 3rd party driver it should work.
Make sure you get the drivers for all of it, because if its anything
like the 8 port you need to componentalize both the driver for the
interface and the driver for the actual port, so be on the safe side
and make sure everything in the driver file you downloaded is availble
for TD to use.

(i did have initial troubles because i didn't realise that it needed
two devices to be installed.
