I am creating a work sheet but when I enter a date it changes. I have tried
formatting the cell to date but it hasn't worked. For example, if I enter
9/6/07 when I exit the cell another date appears. What should I do?

The best thing you can do is to post this question in a newsgroup for MS
Excel.
