Ecbuilder editing

Mike

I am trying to edit my web site in Frontpage 2002. The
site was originally built using Ecbuilder Pro5. As soon
as I load a page into Front page and save it without
making any changes to the page and upload it, the web
site shop fails to work. This is probably because
Frontpage is modyfying the Html automatically. If I use
Dreamweaver the site can be modified and the shop still
works, I would prefer to use Frontpage. Do I neeed to
change some settings in Frontpage.

Regards
Mike

You need to tell FrontPage to preserve the existing HTML.
FrontPage Toolbar > Tools > Page Options > HTML tab
Check "Preserve Existing HTML"
and click OK.

Then make your changes.

Hi

Thanks for replying, I tried the "preserve existing HTML"

The problem still occurs, do you have any other ideas.

Regards
Mike.
