I am trying to transfer files and settings from Windows XP Pro computer to
the new Windows Vista Business computer. I followed the prompt and tried
transferring via network. I get the message cannot connect although I the
browes and see files on eash computer. I then tried to transfer via USB
memory stick. It loaded the file on to the stick but when I took it to the
Windows Vista computer it only goes to the point where I can choose the media
and the drive letter. When I continue it tell me to insert the media and
contimue. It keep going back to where I can select the media with no message
or anything. So far I am at a loss.

When you save the easy transfer to a flash drive, usually an autorun file is
launched to install the transfer when inserted into the Vista Machine. You
probably have a setting to stop that, and you can launch this file from the
flash drive by clicking it. If none of this is available, you are not
getting everything copied to the flash.
