Hello

I know that I am probably one of the few remaining Windows
users still running on steam. I am using the 98 version,
simply as I have no need right now to upgrade and also
because of the old adage 'if it aint broke....' .

I was reading that this spyware software is only effective
for versions 2000 and up. Can anyone tell me if it works
at ALL with 98? If not, can anyone suggest a good anti
apyware program I could download?

Hello

I am still using 98se. I will possible continue to use 98se.
I am getting another computer with windows 98 or 98se
I will have two computer with 98 and one with xp.
If the xp dies. I won't be getting another xp or even vista unless a
job requires it.

I will just keep repairing my systems as long as I can.

May I suggest going to http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/default.mspx
for best practices. Be sure to watch the video!
There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.
