E-mails stay in Outbox but do not get sent

When I click on 'Send' the e-mail gets placed into the
Outbox but never gets sent. There's no sign of it in the
Sent mail folder and I then get told I have unsent mail
in the Outbox when I exit Outlook.

I can receive mail no problem. What am I doing wrong?

Have you checked the File menu to see if Work Offline has been checked?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.
