e-Mail Validation

Messenger keeps on telling me to validate my e-mail by
clicking in the e-mail they claim to have sent me. Problem
is, I never received the e-mail! and there doesn't appear
to be any other way of invoking e-mail validation.
Any one have any suggestions please
