E-mail stuck in Outbox

Ray K.

This is for Outlook 2000.
I have a user who tried to send an e-mail and for unknown reasons it is now
permenantly stuck in his Outbox. I've tried deleting it, moving it and
nothing works. The error message is:
"The MAPI spooler has already begun transmitting this message."
This has been stuck for a week now. My only idea was to move his
Outlook.pst file somewhere else and when I open Outlook again it will ask
where the file is and let it create a new empty one. Then import everything
from the old one except the Outbox. What do you think?

Create a new .pst file - make it the default. Close and reopen Outlook and
delete the bad message from the old Outbox.
