e-mail signature question

Bob Igel

I am using OL 2003. I have created what I believe to be a fairly simple
4-line signature --name, company, phone, URL, etc.-- no graphics or other
stuff. Yet when I open a new e-mail (using HTML w/Outlook as the editor),
the sig is double-spaced.

I have checked all the settings. It is clearly set up as single-space, and
it looks OK both in the sig editor box and when using plain text e-mail.

I have deleted the sig and re-entered...same thing, double spaced.

Am I missing something really simple, or am I just plain missing the boat?

Thanks for the assistance, as always!

HTML signatures seem to suffer from the double-space problem. Are you using
Word as the editor as well?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Bob Igel asked:

This annoyed me for ages too, I got round it by doing soft carriage returns
at teh end of each line and it now works fine.
