E-mail Signature - Colour of Font

I have set up my signature, and I have selected "black" for the font of my
signature, but when I click on "new" e-mail, my signature comes out yellow
and barely readable. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Which version of Outlook are you using?
How exactly did you create your signature?

If using Outlook 2003 or previous, did you use the "Advanced Editor"?
Which editor did it open for you then?
