e-mail on toolbar

my e-mail will not access from the toolbar on XP. When
you go to tools-internet options- programs. the e-mail
box is empty. WHEN YOU CLICK IT IT TURNS BLUE BUT WILL
NOT ALLOW ANYTHING TO BE TYPED THERE. i DON'T KNOW WHAT
TO DO. DICK

Hi,

Click on start >> run and type the following:

"C:\PROGRAM FILES\OUTLOOK EXPRESS\MSIMN.EXE" /reg

This would re-register Outlook Express as the default mail client.

To restore Outlook Express to that mail clients list:

Type the following command in the RUN box:

MSIMN.EXE /REG

and

regsvr32 "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msoe.dll"
