e-mail gets corrupted

since loading XP Service pack 2 (using Outlook Express 6), I have problems
when I send an e-mail with an attachment. When the e-mail is in the Outbox
it shows an error message "Outlook express has not yet downloaded the
message. To download press here then press space" Following this advice
does nothing. When the e-mail is then sent, it either disappears completely,
or is sent but is corrupted.

Use the File menu to create a new Identity, and Import the old mail.
