e-mail attachments in word opening as microsoft digital pro 10?

Since 3/10/09, when I try and open an e-mail attachment WORD document as ,
it's trying to be opened with Microsoft Digital Pro 10 and naturally it says
CAN'T OPEN THIS FILE...so I have to SAVE the attachment in my hard drive and
open it that way. I have no idea why all of a sudden this Microsoft Digital
Pro 10 is APPEARING and attempting to open a WORD file e-mail attachment??

HELP!!!

Because on 3/10 you did something on your PC to modify the Windows file type
assocoation. This is not an Outlook issue. Correct the file type association
in Windows. One way is to run Word once with the /r command switch to
regenerate the Word file associations. See this:

Thank you....I must have somehow inadvertently changed my file type settings
so I went under file types and hit RESTORE and now my WORD e-mail attachments
are opening again.
