Hello,

I have the Mintus of Meeting Database, consistof filed

1. Dec. Number.
2. Subject
3. Decisions

The decision fields is a memo, in order to accomodate more characters/text.
How ever when I create a report some text is hided because I do not put a
big textbox. My question is how can we have the text box dynamically in size,
because for some decision is short, and if we put a big size of box, it will
have a big blank size in the report which is not good to see.

Is there any idea to do it dynamically.

Thanks very much'

Frank

Have you set Can Grow and Can Shrink properties of the control to True (Yes)
and also set the same properties for the section of the report (probably the
Details section) that contains the control bound to the decisions field?

That normally will work.

Properties in both control and details are set to Can Grow, however, my
labels don't move with the data. IE: if there is a large amount of text for
a control, the label for the next control will appear in the middle of the
first controls' text. Do you have any other suggestions? (data type for
fields 'memo') Thanks!

Are the relevant fields and labels stacked Vertically? They really must be
for can grow to work correctly. The label can be in the same horizontal space
as the associated control.

You can't put two can-grow controls in the same horizontal space and get good
results.

I'm not sure what I changed, but this report is working for me now. Thanks
for your help.
