Hi

I am thinking about getting a Dell 20" monitor which has a DVI-D with HDCP
input. The graphics card is an ATI Radeon X1300 Pro PCI Express, and this
has a DVI-I output.

Will the 2 hookup or are they seperate things?

Yes, they'll hookup. But get the correct DVI-D cable. The most common
mistake made is people grab a DVI-I dual link cable which hooks up fine the
video card but those 4 extra prongs around the spade connector cause a major
WTF outburst when hooking up the DVI-D monitor.
