DVD writer won't eject

When writing a DVD-RAM today, my DVD writer would not
eject the disc. All read and write options still work,
and the drive letter shows normally - the disc just won't
eject until the machine is re-started. As soon as any
write operation is made (and allowing time for all
operations to complete) the drive won't eject manually or
via My Computer soft eject command. The DVD drive is a
LG GSA-4040B. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!

What burning software you are using
Try update patches from the software vendor website
