DVD Not Recognized

My computer does not recognize my DVD drive. It was originally device F. I
can not open the device and when booting the device does not light.

If it's not just a lose connection, the drive may very well be DOA..? Try it
on another computer if you need to be sure.. May be time for a replacement..
