dvd erroe message

i have just installed a dvd re writer in my p/c when i run i get the error message tv out is enabled error code f4d41436 it will not play any dvds can anybody help please i am using windows xp professional

Try installing the latest video drivers for your card?

It means you cannot play a copy righted DVD from your PC onto your TV via a TV-out port

Try a differnt type of DVD playing software instead of PowerDVD or WinDVD

There are lots out there available and free

i want to play the dvd on my p/c i do not have a tv out port on my p/c what kind of free software can i get to play copy protected dvd.s

The TV-out port is on the graphics card. Try looking in your settings to turn the option off for external TV playback or words to that effect
