DVD-DivX

Dave

Hi,

I recently downloaded a movie with DivX codec. I
downloaded the DivX movie player and the movie plays ok.
However I save the movie on to a CD (approx 700MB) and
although it appears that the movie has saved to the CD ok
(the file size is the same as that on my harddrive), when
I open the DivX player and scroll to my CD drive and
click on the movie, nothing happens. Can these DivX
movies be saved to CD? or is there something else I need
to do?

Would appreciate the advice folk, especially as I'm a
novice at this.

A movie encoded with divx may be bruned to a CD. Are you getting any errors
when you try this? And are you trying to burn to CD's or DVD's. Windows XP
doesnt support writing to DVD's.
