dvd burning

i am trying to burn my first movie to dvd but am having a
hard time i click burn and i get a message of no media
insert media of course it's in there they are dvd-r yes i
do have a dvd burner

Windows XP doesnt burn DVD's. You must buy and use a third party
application to make DVD's.
