DVD Burning Problem in Vista

I have a new machine that is running Vista and I am having problems
burning DVDs that will play on my Television DVD player. I use Adobe
Elements Premiere to capture and edit video footage and also to create
a DVD image with menus. My normal process on my XP machine is to
write the "DVD" to a folder on my PC using Premiere, then I burn this
folder to a DVD as a Data DVD using Sonic. (I burn the "Video_TS"
folder.) When I do this on my XP machine, the video will play on my
DVD player with no problems. However when I burn this same folder to
a DVD using Vista, the DVD will only play on the computer. It will
NOT play on my TV DVD player. I get a disk error. I looked at the
files on the DVD made with XP and made with Vista and they look the
same. Again, on the XP machine I am using Sonic to burn a "Data disk"
and on the Vista machine I am using the Burn option in Windows
Explorer. Also, in Vista I am burning this disk as a "Mastered" DVD
and NOT a "Live File System." Obviously I could buy a burning
software and that may fix the problem, but I should be able to do this
in Vista alone.

Thanks for any help you can provide.
