Is there a difference between a DV-AVI file and a AVI ??
I cannot get Movie Maker to save my movie clips as a movie in "Save Movie
File". I have enoungh space. My project files have not been altered or moved
(no Red X's).

================================
The following article touches on different types
of .avi files but Movie Maker only has one option
for saving as DV-AVI.

Which file type should I use in Movie Maker?

A little addition.
AVI is a file wrapper, it can contain many different file types, such as
dv - digital video, mpeg1, 2 or 4, divx, xvid, mjpeg etc.
The save to dv-avi option in MM can be missing if the file types on the
timeline are not suitable, see John's last link.
