Duplicate IP addresses on a home wireless network

I have 4 computers connected via a wireless router to a cable Internet
connection. (1 hard wired & 3 wireless) IP addresses are assigned dynamically
as per the Cable Co. suggestion.

Recently we have started getting "There is an IP address conflict with
another system on the network" warning messages from Windows.

When I go immediately to my router, I only show our 4 computers in the
Status/DHCP table and they are on unique IP addresses - no dupes.

How do I identify what this "ghost system" is? My concern is that someone is
using our network.

Thanks

You can use ARP –a command to find the Mac address of other device. Then you may figure out the ghost system.

System has detected IP conflict Event ID 4199 - "The system has detected a conflict for IP address" ... The system detected an address conflict for IP address 192.168.1.100 with the system ...
