Duplicate folders in Outlook left hand pane

I have set up a set of Personal folders to store all my e-mails. However this
has duplicated itself. All changes to the 1st folder (and sub folders)
duplicate themselves in the copy folder and sub folders

How do I remove the copy - without deleting the original.

If you cannot R click and close the duplicate, then you have a corrupt
Outlook profile.
Create a new one.

Thanks, The close option is greyed out.
How do I create a new profile and re-establish my folders within it?
