Leave these files alone! All of them are required, if you ever damage
or delete system files the ones in these other locations will be needed
to replace the broken ones. If you ever run SFC you will need these files!

XP was launched in early 2001.

15 here ranging in size from 55 to 130 kb.

Are you listing created or modified dates?

Leave the files alone! You shouldn't be removing files from the dll
cache or from the service pack folders, these files are needed for the
proper functioning of the Windows File Protection feature.

As for $hf_mig$ this folder and the contained files play an important
role in the hotfix installation process, these files help ensure that
your dlls are not replaced with earlier ones by a hotfix installation.

Well then, since you already know (which makes one wonder why you
asked), you should go ahead and delete them. Go ahead and delete them.
But beware your treatment of good advice when you come back for help as
the problems begin to show up. And they will show up.

Anyone who really wants an answer to a question like that and who can
think and isn't looking to simply find someone to agree with them, would
just go ahead and zip them up , and setting the files aside for a rainy
day. Because it will rain. Eventually. It might seem logical that
just putting those files back will then fix things, but ...

Go ahead; remove them. <g>

If the files are different sizes, they are manifestly *not* duplicates.
