duplex printing upside down?

I have three computers on my network running OFFICE 2007 all connected to a
network HP Officejet duplex printer. Only one computer is running Vista and
that computer prints the back page upside down. I have spoken with the
computer and printer support and they suggested it is a setting in WORD. Is
it?

How can I tell WORD to print duplex back page upside down or rightside up?

TIA,
jim

In the Print dialog, click the Properties button next to the printer's name.
The dialog that appears is created by the printer driver, not by Word, so
it's different for every manufacturer and model and I can't tell you exactly
what to look for. But there will be some option somewhere in the dialog to
control whether the binding of a duplexed print job will be along the long
edge or the short edge (or, equivalently, whether the pages are flipped
horizontally or vertically). Whatever that is, change to the other one.

If that works, it will probably take effect only for the current Word
session -- the next time you start Word, it will be back to the old setting.
You can change the option for everything you print on that computer: Go to
the Control Panel, open Printers and Faxes, and open the Properties dialog
of the Officejet from there. Make the same change, which should be retained
for all sessions.
