Hi,

Although this isn't a definitive answer, what you can do to test out the ability to import
your demo character, would be to backup your My Documents\My Games folder for
Dungeon Siege before installing the full version, and then after you install the full version
if you don't have access to the Demo character, you could try copying that characters
folder from the backup to the newly created My Games folder and relaunch the game.
