Duel core problem ?

CPU CONFIGURATION

Physical count: 1

Logical count: 2

Cache L1: 128 kb

Cache L2: 1024 kb

In the Device manager under Processors It shows AMD Athlon 64x2 duel core
processor 3800+ Twice. Properties reports that The device is working
properly.

But in the Task manger under Performance There`s only one Graph showing,
shouldn`t It show two graphs ?

In your first picture, I see two graph panes

If you're referring to the CPU usage bar graph, it shows the total combined
usage for all cores. If one core is at 100% and the other at 20%, it will
show
60% total usage.

Right, I`ve just had a look at the links I posted and that top graph "CPU
Usage history" DoesNot have that vertical dividing line never has, this is
a better screenshot

core and..... I got them mixed up. Sorry

BTW, Alt-print screen grabs just the active window, not the cool desktop
wallpaper too.

The piccy you provided shows two graphs as I would expect.

Right, I`ve just had a look at the links I posted and that top graph "CPU

Under the 'view' menu there is an option to have one graph per processor or
one graph per core.

I was wondering how you managed to post a piccy of a two graph task manager
when you reckoned you couldn't get one. Your explanation is entirely
plausible. I wouldn't worry, we've all done it - or something similar.

I just got mixed up, when I was on the single core machine, I thought I was
on the other one then my friend pointed out that there should be 2 graphs.
And I`d been swapping between the 2 machines all day.
That`s my excuse anyway lol.
