Dualcore problems VIsta

Hello Everybody,

Ik have a laptop with a dualcore proc (AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 1,61 GHz.)

I have installed the 64 bit version of Vista but i have seen that the proc
is not recognized.
in the hardware there a ? bij the Coprocessor.

Are there more people with the same problem ?

Is ther anybody who knows when the will be some drivers for Vista.

Where do you find the AMD CPU drivers for Vista? I keep
checking AMD and have not seen any posted yet.

The driver you are looking for does not tie into the CPU. The driver that you
are missing is the Nvidia Nforce SMU driver. What you will need to do is
download the complete set of nforce drivers from:

http://www.nzone.com/object/nzone_downloads_nforce_vista_x64_beta2.html

Then you will have to extract the files from it and then go back to the
device manager and manually "update the driver" for the coprocessor. Make
sure that you direct it to the "SMU" folder of the nvidia drivers. This
should fix the issue for you. I know that the driver is a beta but it works
very well.

The driver you need is the Nvidia Nforce SMU driver. Download it from:

I know that this is a beta driver but it works perfectly fine. Just extract
it to your C drive and then go to the device manager and manually update the
driver. just make sure that you direct it to the SMU folder within the Nvidia
folder.
