Dual Monitor Question

My boss brought in a tv/monitor and I hooked it up to his laptop and it
works just fine and dandy. It's a nice big 19" HD and we've got satellite
running through it too. Looks really nice. Anyway, he is keeping it to the
left of his laptop because it's so big and doesn't block the window view.
He's fine with keeping his laptop as the main monitor and on the right.
What he is having a hard time with is the mouse. To get to the 2nd monitor,
you have to go out the right side of the laptop which is on the right and
come in the left side of the monitor on the left. This is the way it should
be if the 2nd monitor was on the right. Is there any way (registry hack or
something) to get the mouse to leave the laptop monitor (on the right)
through the left side and enter the left monitor from the right side?

Also, this tv/monitor had picture in a picture and he would really like to
be able to have the tv picture within the computer monitor but that doesn't
appear to be an option. Is that usually not an option or can anyone help
with that?

Thanks so much.

Go into display properties where both screens are shown as 1 and 2.. drag 2
across 1, such that the screen shows 2 and 1.. exit out.. now try the
mouse..
